Home of the historic Walkers Tavern, Cambridge Junction Historic State Park remembers the days of stagecoach traveling. On the grounds, visitors will find an interpretive center, a restored tavern and picnic areas with grills. This park is staffed from May to October and is found across from the Michigan International Speedway near Brooklyn and Onsted.
Located near Wamplers Lake (an all-sports lake), Round Lake and the Michigan International Speedway, Hayes State Park is a popular destination offering numerous features of its own. Boating, fishing, swimming, camping and picnicking are some of the supported activities. There is a beach house, playgrounds and an 185-site campsite on the grounds.
Located on the east side of Brooklyn, Vineyard Lake and the surrounding park areas offer guests an range of activities to enjoy. The lake itself takes up 505 acres of land and boasts an 8.5 acre park beside it. Visitors can enjoy swimming, boating and picnicking, as well as fishing.
